Depending on your budget, Lakeway Resort Hotel on the lake Travis is the place to stay.
You have tremendous view of lake, near an out-door shopping mall , golf and just about everything Austin is known for. Downtown is about its 25 minutes away,
for 6th street music scene , Texas museum , Imax theater , Mexican restaurants , rent bikes or canoes ride in parks or paddle the river …..and more
Our shuttle picks up at Steiner Ranch Elementary 10 minutes from lakeway resort.
Other ideas are to stay in Hotels on North side of Austin near IH 183 (also known as Toll Road 45 ) and 620 . Thi is another pickup spot at Cedar Park high school.
Lots of hotels and is in the middle of everything , mall right there and downtown and Lake Travis is 20 minutes away.
The ranch is 25 minutes north of here for actually driving to ranch.
Most parents stay in Austin and drive out to camp first day and kids come back into town on shuttle, convenience factor.
Then use shuttle rest of week and last day is parent show day so they come on shuttle to camp in morning and you come at 1pm for show till 3pm.
